Towards A Draft Model Copyright Law for East and Southern Africa

It has come to IPKenya’s attention that the Southern and Eastern Africa Copyright Network (SEACONET) will hold a meeting in Lilongwe, Malawi from 21st to 22nd August, 2012 with a view to finalise the draft sample copyright law.

Presumably, Kenya’s representative to this important Seaconet meeting will be Dr. Marisella Ouma, Executive Director of the Kenya Copyright Board (KECOBO).

Background information on Seaconet, it’s objectives and progress can be found here.
